Job Responsibilities: This person will be responsible for taking calls from customers with downed networking service, taking notes and rigorous documentation will be instrumental in coordinating resources , i.e. identify carrier, contact them and document issues as well as notification to the right people to ensure the issue is cared for. Along the way, this person will be responsible for providing updates to the customer as to the status of the issue. Some level of technical background is required: Routers, Switches and Circuits (T1, DS3, OC3, OC48, etc.). This individual has to be career driven, customer service oriented and a team player.
- Passion for delivering good customer service
- Several years of Customer Service experience
- At-least two years of prior help-desk or desktop support experience
- General Understanding of Networking
- Excellent written and oral communication ability
- Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper and ADC products
- Strong knowledge of networks
- Experience with ticketing tools
