Our client is entering busy season for meetings and exhibits and need additional support for their team. This role will require skills in heavy coordination, follow up, communication at all levels, and administrative skills. The role is ongoing through the busy season and, based upon business need, may be open for a vacancy in the new year. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and experience as a meetings and/or exhibits assistant for a nonprofit organization. Any work with event management will be favored over general administrative skills, but this role is largely administrative. Requirements include:
- 1-5 years of solid administrative experience in a corporate environment
- Exposure to event and meeting planning as a coordinator or assistant
- Reliable vehicle as our client site is not CTA accessible
- Outgoing personality and a "no task is too small" attitude
