QUALIFICATIONS

• B.S in Accounting or Business highly preferred
• 2+ years of experience
• Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in monthly closing processes including, but not limited to, the following: posting recurring journal entries, creating and archiving the related work papers, resolving variances and other issues during the closing process, and compilation/submission of financial statements to corporate parent
• Analyzes audits of job-specific costs and prepares reports for management analysis.
• Compiles cost information to be used in operating budget preparation.
• Analyzes historical and planned purchases for budget preparation.
• Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
• Provides various data analysis and reports concerning manufacturing and operation KPI's.
• Maintains cost accounting system/modules within ERP.
• Reconciles work-in-process general ledger balances to calculated WIP and inventory detail
• ledgers to general ledger balances.
• Plans study and collects data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor.
• Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services
• provided, to determine effects on costs.
• Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic reporting comparing projected
• costs to actual production costs.
• Assists in audits and general ledger preparation.
