Embedded Software Engineer
Clearance: Active Secret
Onsite Requirements: Onsite Monday-Thursday
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day activities will have this person investigating, seeking to understand, and applying advanced development standards, processes, procedures, and tools within the vehicle systems domain (UAV, Helicopter, Airplane, etc.)
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies throughout each iteration and increment of the project
- Requirements generation, software design, and implementation
- Integration activities will include a multitude of host systems, simulated systems, and laboratory environments that include constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system simulations
Required Skills:
- Experience with C and/or C++
- Experience with Linux and associated development toolchains
- Experience working with safety/flight critical software development processes
- Experience with Modeling and Simulation
- Experience with hardware protocols
- 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Vehicle Management System (VMS) architectures
- Experience with embedded real-time systems (RTOS)
Pay: $65-$85 /hr
