Our client is a nonprofit organization located in Newton, MA, seeking a Sales Support Specialist to work on a part-time basis in a 6 month contract, with opportunity to extend. This role pays up to 25/hr depending on experience. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining exceptional customer service by promptly responding to member requests via email and phone, completing web sales transactions, coordinating custom product quotes, and updating and maintaining our CRM tool. This person must possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, a keen attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and enough technical savvy to navigate Netsuite.

The key responsibilities of a Sales Support Specialist include, but are not limited to:

• Completing web, email, and phone orders within the Netsuite ERP.
• Managing inbound phone orders, inquiries, and complaints.
• Assisting with customer projects, including custom quotes, RFPs, product research.
• Customer database management and maintenance.
• Updating product pricing and product descriptions for our ecommerce website.

Qualifications

The key skills and qualities of a Sales Support Specialist include:

• BS/BA degree required.
• Minimum two years in sales support, customer service, or administrative role.
• Familiarity with ERP software and with CRM systems preferred.
• The successful candidate will be highly personable, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a small, entrepreneurial environment and embrace a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
