Our client, a medical focused non-profit, is seeking a temporary Program Coordinator to support their team in Washington, DC!
About you:
- 3+ years of programmatic experience, ideally within a non-profit organization.
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Administrative support experience including scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and working within a database is required.
- Strong communication and a strong understanding of cultural sensitivities.
- Interest in public health and health equity is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work on-site 3 days per week in Washington, DC.
The Job:
- Serve as main point of contact for stakeholders and community groups.
- Assist with event coordination and create programming materials.
- Review and update information in NetForum database.
- Participate in meetings and take notes.
- Conduct outreach and build relationships with community partners.
This is a temporary position that pays $24/hr-$26/hr and is slated to last 4 to 6 months. If you have strong administrative experience and an interest public health, please apply today with your Microsoft Word resume!
