Our client, a property management company located in Boston, is seeking a Tenant Coordinator. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity and can compensate up to $30/hr. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration!

Responsibilities

Maintenance Coordination:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all tenant maintenance requests.
  • Evaluate the urgency and nature of maintenance requests to prioritize work orders.
  • Troubleshoot routine maintenance problems, offering immediate solutions when possible.
  • Ability to manage lease information and tenant contact data.

Technician and Vendor Dispatch:

  • Ensuring timely and professional repairs.
  • Follow up on completed jobs to ensure tenant satisfaction and maintain.

Conduct monthly property walk-throughs.

Communication:

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with tenants, technicians, and third-party vendors.
  • Provide timely updates to tenants regarding the status of their maintenance requests.
  • Document all communication and updates in the properties management system for record-keeping and future reference.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure a high level of tenant satisfaction through prompt, courteous, and effective service.
  • Address tenant concerns empathetically and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Assist with the documentation of maintenance policies and procedures.
  • Compile regular reports on maintenance activities for property management review.
  • Suggest improvements for maintenance processes and tenant communication strategies.

Administration:

  • Assist with administrative duties such as controlling inventory (cleaning supplies, property management supplies)
  • Assisting Partner with calendar management when necessary
  • Executing printing and shipping needs when necessary
  • Ordering merchandise

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Basic knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.
  • Prior experience in a customer service role is highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle maintenance issues promptly.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and
  • questioning effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with technology, including property management software and
  • communication tools.
  • A commitment to professionalism, integrity, and responsiveness in all interactions.
