Our client, a hotel and hospitality company in Washington, DC, is seeking a direct-hire Executive Meeting Manager to support their team!

About you:

  • 2+ years of hotel or hospitality experience required.
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience with social and wedding events is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Opera is a plus.
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.

The Job:

  • Coordinate and execute all on-site events, conferences, and activities.
  • Manage and maintain business through various efforts (lead follow up, telemarketing, direct mail, referrals, internet prospecting, etc.) to maximize revenues to meet and exceed goals.
  • Prepare and execute sales, catering contracts, event orders, and group resumes to ensure quality product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Create and distribute effective internal and external communication (oral and written).
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and staff and complete other duties as needed.

This is a direct-hire position that pays a salary of between $70K-$75K + Commission (typically around 15-20% but can be as much as 100% of salary) depending on experience.
