Job description

A company is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their growing team. The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function of the organization. The candidate will be responsible for managing a team of accounts payable specialists and ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner. The candidate will be expected to review and approve vendor invoices, resolve invoice discrepancies, and ensure that payments are made according to the organization's policies and procedures. We are looking for someone with at least 1 years of experience managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the accounts payable team
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments
• Review and reconcile accounts payable transactions and statements
• Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment issues and inquiries
• Monitor and analyze accounts payable metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Years of experience: 5+ years
• Experience level: Manager/Supervisor
