Our client, a large privately-held real estate company, is seeking a Senior Accountant. This role will be responsible for the oversight of properties but gives you the chance to move into different departments. Our client has a brand new office and this role is hybrid (3 days onsite).
Responsibilites:
- Manage month-end closing procedures
- Prepare journal entries, reporting on ad-hoc basis
- Review and prepare documents for audits
- Assist with projects if needed
- Liason between AP, AR, Payroll and IT
- Provide financial statement analysis which includes income statements, balance sheet, & cash flow
Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting or Finance required
- MBA/CPA preferred
- 3-5 years of previous experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting/reporting systems
