POSITION: STAFF ACCOUNTANT

LOCATION: NORTHFIELD, OH

INDUSTRY: MANUFACTURING

A fantastic manufacturing company located in Northfield is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This person will be responsible for full cycle accounting, accounts payable and receivable, month end close, journal entries, general ledger and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments
• Take ownership of collections outreach
• Issue credit memos and invoices
• Follow up/resolve any issues relating to invoicing and payments
• Process expense reports
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Support month end close procedures
• Assist in projects as needed from Controller and Sr. Data Analyst

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Self-starter in the workplace
• Critical and analytical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite)
• Thorough knowledge and ability to apply accounting theory
