Staff Accountant - Sudbury, MA
We are assisting a privately owned machine tool importer company, in their search for a Staff Accountant to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) invoices.
- Maintain vendor and customer records in accounting software.
- Contribute to financial reporting efforts.
- Participate in the bi-annual budget process by preparing schedules and providing additional financial data.
- Assist in the year-end financial audit by preparing necessary schedules and information.
- Help maintain the General Ledger and support the creation and maintenance of related schedules.
- Analyze and reconcile specific balance sheet accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Assist the General Accounting team with weekly wire transfers and check runs.
- Take on additional projects and tasks as requested.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
1+ year experience in an accounting or finance position within a professional environment.
- Familiarity with Infor Cloudsuite, SAP, or Concur expense software is a plus!
