JOB DESCRIPTION
INPATIENT CODER: DETAILS
Title: Inpatient Coder
Location: Brentwood TN is the office location (MUST BE LOCATED IN THE Teneessee or surrounding areas)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $25-30/hour
Type: Contract to possible hire
Hours: 7am-4pm CT | Monday-Friday
REQUIREMENTS: INPATIENT CODER
* 2+ year of experience in recent inpatient and outpatient Facility Coding
* 2+ years of experience in Charge Capture
* Must have your CCS or RHIT certification
RESPONSIBILITIES: INPATIENT CODER
* You will be reviewing our clients EMR to reconcile their ER charges and then capture the charges for all of their inpatient charges and completing an Excel spreadsheet to be given to our clients for entry into their billing system
* You must be well versed in the coding and billing of Injections and Infusions.
* You will also be responsible for coding these accounts into our TruCode system to appropriately assign the DRG on Inpatient accounts.
* Familiarity with PICIS, CERNER and EPIC EMR's a plus.
