Our client in Englewood, CO is looking for an Automation Engineer to join their team. We need someone to work on release testing, understand customer requirements, and help the team move from a more manual testing environment to an automated testing environment. Someone who has experience working specifically with network test automation is key, in addition to having experience testing JavaScript with 4+ years of overall QA experience.
Top 4 Requirements:
- Test automation experience working with software that works directly with hardware (such as network devices, network appliances)
- Experience testing JavaScript of any type
- Understanding of database schemas and querying tools
- Bachelor's Degree
Plusses:
- Python
- ALM or TestRail
- Playright
- GitLab
Day to Day/Project:
- Working on release testing
- Understanding customer requirements
- This team is working to move from manual to automation - about 25-30% of their test cases are automated right now
- Self-sufficient, can operate without hand-holding
