A consulting group in construction is looking to add a Certified Estimator to their team! This role is mostly remote, but candidates need to be able to go to meetings a few times/month in their San Antonio office. Salary range is $75-110k.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage building investigations, property condition assessments (PCA), and other hands-on field work in conjunction with company associates and other field professionals
• Provide cost estimating functions such as quantity take-offs, building materials sourcing, developing budgetary costs, and analyzing cost-related data
• Professionally opine on proposed costs in construction proposals, plans, specifications and scopes of work
• Solicit pricing data and contractor bids through various industry sources.
• Produce detailed cost estimates within specified architectural or engineering recommendations

Requirements:

• 3+ years General Contracting/Roofing estimating or equivalent experience
• One of the following certifications is required: Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) by the ASPE, Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) by the AACE, or Registered Roofing Consultant (RRC) by the IIBEC
• Experience in Xactimate preferred
