Our client is looking for an internal controls leader to help enhance the quality of their controls environment. This person will be working with the business to do gap analysis and remediation on their accounting processes. They are looking for someone with a background in controls and SOX to help guide their team on good documentation and testing of ICFR control deficiencies. This person will be focused on identifying areas of process improvement and supporting the rollouts of frameworks to new acquisitions. It is good to have a background on leading controls for Business projects as this person will be working closely with multiple teams.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years + experience with creating and testing financial controls
• Exposure to compliance regulations such as SOX
• Knowledge and use of audit and risk management tools
• Strong Excel knowledge
• Experience reviewing compliance procedures and providing gap analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication ability to work with all levels of an organization
• Travel for position on a quarterly basis

Desired Skills:

• CPA certification
• Experience in Audit Board
• Experience with Power BI and adjusting dashboards
• Background in Internal audits
