Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a mid-sized boutique Patent law firm located in Boston, MA that is seeking a Patent Legal Assistant with 1+ years of patent law firm experience to join their team.

This firm has a phenomenal culture with little to no turnover. THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE - ONLY IN OFFICE ONE DAY PER WEEK.

Legal Assistant Responsibilities Include:

• assisting with the preparation, review and filing of patent applications, corresponding with clients via email and telephone and managing client requests,

• managing daily dockets, and ensuring all deadlines are addressed, maintaining and organizing patent files and other electronic records, reviewing and proofreading patent documents, and other patent-specific and general administrative duties.

• Successful candidates must have a bachelor's degree, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, proficient oral and written communication skills, the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks and changing assignments and priorities in a fast-paced office environment, and knowledge or a willingness to learn practices and procedures relating to procurement of patents in the US and in other countries. While prior patent prosecution experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right person.
