Job Summary:
Beacon Hill is seeking a Senior Customer Support Specialist with advanced communication skills to join a fast-pace team based out of Minneapolis, MN. This is a hybrid role, with 2 to 3 in office days per week.
The Senior Customer Support Specialist will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer support to both internal and external customers. This role involves processing financial transactions with precision and maintaining a high level of service quality. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong prioritization skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to resolve business and customer issues effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction
- Respond promptly to customer calls related to financial inquiries and technical assistance requests.
- Utilize the case tracking system to log, monitor, and follow up on customer inquiries, ensuring timely resolution.
- Execute financial transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to instructions from internal and external customers.
- Process audit confirmations and calculate leasing contract buyouts when necessary.
- Generate specialized customer-specific reports to meet unique requirements.
- Resolve customer problems and issues in line with established expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Serve as "Mission Critical Personnel" to support business continuity and reduced staffing scenarios.
- Support multiple products and services provided, becoming proficient in their features and functionalities.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support for non-processing projects and initiatives as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- +3 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking or financial services; or an appropriate combination of education and experience.
Other Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and the ability to identify when issues should be escalated.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to interact effectively with internal and external customers and colleagues at all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
