This position will sit on-site in Charlotte, NC for a hybrid schedule, (3 days onsite and 2 days remote).
SQL Data Analyst
Key Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience with Alteryx and SQL, with proficiency in Alteryx Server. Basic Tableau skills are a plus. Proficiency with MS Office 365, including SharePoint, is preferred. We are also open to candidates with strong Tableau skills who are light on Alteryx.
- SQL Proficiency: Candidates should have experience creating and updating tables, conducting joins, and working with various types of SQL queries.
- Alteryx Mastery: Candidates must have a strong background in Alteryx, including experience with data integration, API calls, aggregations, unions/joins, and familiarity with the latest Alteryx versions.
- Tableau Experience: If you have Tableau skills, please highlight your experience in connecting to datasets, creating sets, parameters, LOD calculations, calculated fields, and data visualization.
- Interpersonal Skills: We are looking for candidates with a fun, outgoing personality who can interact effectively with high-level executives. Flexibility, adaptability, professionalism, and excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential.
Interview Process:
A 1-hour Webex interview with our manager, and 1-2 testers. The interview will include a "get to know you" session and a 45-minute technical assessment focusing on Alteryx, SQL, and Tableau skills (if applicable).
Work Environment:
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- You will own and manage projects end-to-end, including running customer calls (internal clients), project tracking, and data acquisition.
- Reporting using SQL and Alteryx will be a key part of your role, and you should have an eye for data accuracy.
- You will have the opportunity to learn Tableau as you work on IT Asset Data, budget tracking for IT Executives, Audits and Compliance, ticketing system reporting, and IT Sustainability projects.
- You will contribute to the development and management of over 30 dashboards, and there is room for growth in IT Sustainability and Natural Energy initiatives.
