Beacon Hill is seeking motivated Benefits & Compensation Analysts! This role is hybrid in Saint Paul, 3 days in the office, and 2 days from home. The company is growing quickly and wants to maintain a competitive total compensation package. Your experience in market research will help make the employee expereince enticing.

Essential Competencies:

Compensation Analysis:

  • Conduct regular market research and benchmarking to maintain industry-competitive compensation packages.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess job roles, responsibilities, and market trends for recommending appropriate salary ranges and structures.
  • Assist in designing and implementing incentive and bonus programs aligned with company objectives.
  • Analyze compensation data to identify trends and provide insights for informed decision-making.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks.
  • Contribute to the development of benefits strategies aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Collect employee data and reconcile monthly billings for all group plans.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to ensure smooth benefits administration and resolution of issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in benefits administration.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize HRIS and relevant systems to gather, analyze, and present compensation and benefits data.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide insights to HR leadership and other departments.
  • Interpret data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement in compensation and benefits programs.

Policy and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and internal policies related to compensation and benefits.
  • Participate in internal and external audits related to compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure the organization's and plans' compliance with the applicable provisions of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Communication and Employee Support:

  • Act as the primary contact for employees' compensation and benefits-related inquiries.
  • Communicate changes in compensation and benefits policies to employees and offer guidance as needed.
  • Assist in preparing materials for employee training and communication.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Compensation & Benefits Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of compensation and benefits practices, including market analysis and program design.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
