Beacon Hill is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support a growing company. This is a fully onsite position in Plymouth, near the Minneapolis border. Hours are 8am-5pm. This is not a traditional customer service role, as you are supporting with many office clerical duties as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all inbound phone calls and emails, responding promptly and effectively.
  • Enter sales quotations for basic products and spare parts.
  • Process and monitor orders to vendors.
  • Provide information about products and services to customers, partners, and colleagues.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling key meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Work with customer and vendor databases.
  • Manage product inquiries and issues, monitoring their status until resolution.
  • Monitor and manage office supply inventory.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop new programs for improving customer experience.
  • Assist the company COO with tasks related to the company's ERP QuickBooks, including product/pricing entry, invoicing, and expense recording.
  • Make outbound calls to customers to monitor satisfaction, gather feedback, propose maintenance plans, and present new products and solutions.
  • Research potential new customers, register them in the company's CRM, and make outbound calls to present the company's products and solutions.
  • Communicate with customers to facilitate the recovery of past-due invoices (receivables).

Preferred Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven success in customer service and/or office administration.
  • Eager and easy-going with a professional attitude; a good listener and problem solver.
  • Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone.
  • Ability to assess opportunities for improvement and demonstrate willingness and ability to adapt to change.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
  • Willingness to collaborate and assist others on the team.
  • Self-organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM experience is helpful.

Additional Information:

  • Answering phone calls averages around 3-8 calls per day.
  • Strong familiarity with QuickBooks, while not required, is highly beneficial as it is extensively used for various tasks.
  • Strong communication and grammar abilities are essential for this role.
