Position Overview

Beacon Hill's client is looking for a Customer Service Support professional to work on a temporary assignment for approximately two months, potentially longer based on business needs. This position involves executing established customer service tasks related to order intake, confirmation, processing, and fulfillment. The incumbent will contribute to achieving streamlined internal processes to enhance the overall customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying potential obstacles within the order management process and collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer-facing representatives to implement corrective actions as directed.
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed about order statuses and any related issues.
  • Support the generation of order-related documents following established processes.
  • Aid in the resolution of simple administrative or clerical process issues following defined procedures pertaining to order confirmation, processing, and fulfillment.
  • Assist in managing simple customer orders to ensure alignment with credit, contract, pricing, stock allocation, and transportation availability.
  • Adhere to standard procedures regarding order status, invoices, contract balances, and share necessary information with customer-facing representatives to facilitate order completion.
  • Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical, or customer support issues under general supervision, escalating more complex issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, secondary education level, or equivalent.
  • Two years of related work experience..
