Well-established Florida Law Firm with offices across the state is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal to join its Fort Lauderdale team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of litigation experience, including actual experience in trial preparation and support. They must be able to travel within Florida for trial attendance as needed. The paralegal will work directly with attorneys to assist in the litigation process and must be familiar with the rules and procedures of Florida federal and state courts.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing, organizing and summarizing documents, preparing witness files, assisting with expert witnesses, and assisting attorneys in preparation for trial. The candidate must be well-versed in the requirements for the filing of documents using CM/ECF systems.
