Job Summary

Beacon Hill's client is seeking an experienced Temporary HR Support Specialist to join their HR team as soon as possible during a period of transition. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of HR support experience and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires 30+ hours a week and allows the option to work hybrid or onsite. The role is based out of Minneapolis, MN looking to have someone in the role for 3+ months.

Responsibilities

Job Descriptions Revamp Project

  • Perform extensive edits on a large number of Word documents.
  • Coordinate with HR team to ensure all outstanding items are completed.
  • Utilize higher-level decision-making skills to combine and eliminate duplicate documents with minimal guidance.
  • Assist with job postings as needed.

Paylocity Implementation Support

  • Conduct data audits related to recruiting and position history.
  • Assist with other data management tasks and audits as required.

HR Filing

  • Support physical filing tasks including terminations, pay change documentation, and miscellaneous filing.
  • Help manage the increased workload during the busy summer months.

HRIS Support

  • Process employee licensure renewals and conduct annual audits in the HRIS system.
  • Perform data entry and manage scanned files.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR support roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and data management.
  • Experience with job descriptions and job postings preferred.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity or similar HRIS systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to make higher-level decisions with minimal guidance.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with team members effectively.

This temporary role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to key HR projects during a period of transition. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR team to ensure the completion of critical tasks and support ongoing operations.
