Responsible for providing technical support to end-users on hardware, software, and network-related problems, questions, and usage.

Essential Functions:

  • Install and troubleshoot various handheld mobile devices.
  • Provide outstanding technical and customer service to end users.
  • Support with various Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and other desktop applications.
  • Document problem resolution in a call ticket tracking system.
  • Identify user hardware and/or software problems and resolve them directly or indirectly.
  • Assist users with hardware and software problems related to desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and peripherals.
  • Support the setup, deployment, configuration, installation, and replacement of PCs, printers, and peripherals for new or renovated units.
  • Handle computer moves, hardware/software installs, and various IT requests.
  • Maintain asset management documentation, manage hardware replacement, and contact vendors and service providers for asset/system maintenance.
  • Provide technical support for MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Windows 10, 7 or current MS OS, PC hardware and peripherals, printers, internet access, remote access, and third-party applications, including Epic and related applications.
  • Triages customer issues, identifies root cause, documents issues in the Help Desk application, resolves or escalates to appropriate support levels, and follows up with customers to ensure ticket closure and a positive customer service experience.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent knowledge in a specialized field.
  • 3-5 years of experience Hands on Desktop Support
  • A+ Certification or Net+ Certification.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Cerner and standard office equipment
  • Knowledge of emerging desktop technologies and software applications.

Other:

Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 customer support
5X week onsite - 40 Hours week
