Job Description: EUC Field Technician

Location: Burbank (Glendale), CA - onsite 5 days

Pay Rate Max: $32/hr

Type: Contract, 90 days, possible conversion

Responsibilities:

  • System Management:
    • Install, upgrade, deploy, test, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Mac OS X, including O365.
    • Provide and restore system configurations; reimage or refresh as necessary.
    • PC desktop and end-user support, including new hire systems setups and refresh.
    • Perform software and hardware evaluations and upgrades.
  • Hardware Support:
    • Install and repair computer hardware and peripheral components (e.g., monitors, keyboards).
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including network and internet connectivity (LAN, MAN, WAN, VOIP).
    • Isolate issues and perform root cause analysis.
    • Assist in troubleshooting software and hardware failures, and identify and triage connectivity issues impacting voice/telecom, network, and software.
  • Software Support:
    • Set up and support collaboration software (One Drive, Slack, Teams).
    • Provide assistance and support for remote employees using BSP/VPN and remote tools.
  • Customer Service:
    • Deliver strong customer service and communication (verbal and written).
    • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with other support groups.
    • Provide client-facing customer service.
  • Security:
    • Support Windows BitLocker and Mac FileVault encryption and security tools, including backup and restores using standard Windows and Mac utilities.
    • Perform standard Windows migration using USMT.
  • Device Management:
    • Manage and implement iOS devices.
  • Documentation and Collaboration:
    • Maintain knowledge base, documentation, and asset inventory database.
    • Work closely with the team and other service providers to resolve issues.
    • Escalate issues and coordinate with other teams as necessary.
  • Ticket Management:
    • Monitor ServiceNow (SNOW) tickets and perform ticket hygiene.
    • Monitor assignment groups to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and manage individual ticket count and productivity.
  • Project Management:
    • Take on small projects from start to finish.
