My client, a Global Fintech company located in downtown NYC, is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accountant to join the team. In this role you will assist with month-end close procedures by preparing reconciliations and analyses and resolving expense discrepancies. You will review and amend expense reports for accuracy and record entries for sales and use tax therefore you must understand prepaids, accruals, and sales tax. Additionally you will oversee the status of the monthly corporate credit card process to ensure statements are paid on time. You will also work with the technology team to improve processes and ensure the group's goals are met. Ideal candidate will have a BS in Accounting or business or something related and have 3+ years' experience in Accounts Payable.
