My client located in Minneapolis, MN is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. Duties include analyzing financial data, supports month-end close activities, and assists in planning, forecasting, and capital spending.

Duties include:

• Analyze, understand and interpret financial & transactional data supporting monthly journal entries; make recommendations when/where necessary
• Month end financial close activities; including necessary journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting analysis, etc.
• Analyze variances, understand drivers and trends. Assist in development and preparation of regular management reporting
• Support and participate in the annual planning & monthly forecasting process; ensure plans and forecasts are aligned with Business Unit and Corporate Goals.
• Provide support for Business Unit capital spending, including assistance with plan and forecasts, along with development and preparation of regular reporting
• Clearly and concisely communicate as needed on Business Unit results, Forecast/plan and other matters to leadership
• Performs special projects
