Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Telephony Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with Cisco telephony systems, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), and a solid understanding of BAT files for automation and configuration tasks. The Telephony Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our telephony infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for configuring users in the Cisco telephone systems. The engineer will take primary responsibilities in creating the workbook for the site in order to build the batch file for the users migrating from Avaya to Cisco. Cisco CUCM experience is required along with excel skills.

Design, configure, and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) to ensure reliable and efficient telephony services.
Manage and troubleshoot Cisco IP phones, gateways, and other related hardware.
Implement and manage call routing, dial plans, and other telephony features within CUCM.
System Configuration and Integration:

Develop and execute BAT (Bulk Administration Tool) files for bulk updates, configuration changes, and system migrations.
Integrate telephony systems with other enterprise applications and communication platforms as needed.

Ensure telephony systems adhere to organizational policies and industry regulations.
Implement security measures to protect telephony infrastructure from unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
Proven experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco telephony systems.
Experience with BAT files and Cisco Bulk Administration Tool.
Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration) are highly desirable.
Skills:

Strong knowledge of telephony systems, including VoIP, SIP, and PSTN.
Proficient in using and scripting with BAT files for bulk operations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex telephony issues.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
