Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chemist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of pharmaceutical compounds, contributing to the advancement of our product pipeline. This position requires a deep understanding of organic and analytical chemistry, as well as experience in regulatory compliance and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct experiments to synthesize new pharmaceutical compounds and improve existing formulations.
  • Analyze and interpret data using advanced analytical techniques, including HPLC, NMR, and GC-MS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medicinal chemistry, formulation, and quality assurance, to advance projects from conception to clinical development.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, including research reports, regulatory submissions, and patents.
  • Mentor and train junior chemists and laboratory staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including GLP and GMP practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements, integrating new techniques and technologies into research and development processes.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong background in organic chemistry and experience with medicinal chemistry principles.
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques and instrumentation.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
