My client who specializes in the Real Estate sector is hiring a Controller to manage and operate the Accounting and Finance functions on a daily basis. In this role you will report to the COO and also handle the personal finances of the partners of the firm. You will oversee Treasury and compliance and produce monthly reporting packages to track performance vs budget. You will maintain the weekly cash clow forecast and conduct ad hoc analysis as well. You will oversee 1-2 on the team but this is a very hands on role so you need to be comfortable doing all of the tasks as it relates to the month end close. It is a very warm and intimate office that offers catered lunch daily and a strong quality of life. You must have discretion in this position as you will be handling the partner's investments and work with confidential information. Ideally a minimum of 10+ years' experience is required as well as someone who likes process and wants to assist in upgrading the accounting systems and be involved with creating best practices for the department.
