We're hiring! Our client in Illinois is looking for a part-time Talent acquisition Specialist to start immediately! This is a fully remote role for 20-30 hours per week. In this position, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the staffing needs of the organization. This role involves managing the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and coordinating with hiring managers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the hiring process, and a passion for connecting with potential candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing & Recruitment:
    • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
    • Post job openings on various job boards, social media, and other relevant platforms.
    • Proactively search for potential candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, and other resources.
  • Screening & Interviewing:
    • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
    • Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Candidate Management:
    • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
    • Provide feedback to candidates after interviews and keep them informed of their status.
    • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure all candidate information is up-to-date.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment plans.
    • Assist in the development and execution of recruitment marketing strategies to enhance the employer brand.
    • Participate in recruitment-related meetings and provide regular updates on hiring progress.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with applicable employment laws and company policies.
    • Prepare and present reports on recruitment metrics and KPIs to management.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
    • 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
    • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Flexibility to work part-time hours, with availability to accommodate the needs of the business.
    • Strong ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
