Join our dynamic team as a Grant Accountant, where you'll be managing all aspects of accounting for an amazing non-profit organization. In this pivotal role, you'll handle general accounting transactions such as grant and contract billing, budgeting, accounts receivable, payroll reporting, and preparing audit workpapers. You'll be the go-to expert in tracking and recording expenses for government and corporate grants, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for funders.
Your responsibilities include allocating expenditures to various funding sources, maintaining compliance with regulations, and providing financial insights to management. You'll collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure proper fund coding, assist in grant budget preparation, and prepare detailed financial reports. Your attention to detail will shine as you review budget-to-actual reports, investigate variances, and support annual audits.
No degree required, but nonprofit and grant accounting experience is essential. This position offers a flexible work schedule after 90 days. If you're ready to make an impact in fund-based accounting, we want to hear from you!
