Case Coordinator

Beacon Hill is seeking a dedicated Case Coordinator to manage administrative tasks related to medical record reviews. The role involves requesting and processing medical records, creating summary reports, and communicating with providers to support the company's medical claim review process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle provider calls, answering inquiries accurately and resolving concerns effectively.
  • Manage and de-escalate situations with dissatisfied providers, offering support and assistance as needed.
  • Follow up on outstanding medical record requests, verify received records, and ensure the information is accurate.
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical and coding teams to aid in the claim analysis process.
  • Send medical record request letters to providers and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Use data audit techniques to ensure the accuracy and quality of medical records and other related information.
  • Assist with additional projects as needed to support the team.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • +2 years of relevant experience preferred, with a background in customer service or provider relations.
  • Understanding of medical documentation and previous experience working with medical claims is preferred.

Skills:

  • High attention to detail with proven accuracy in work functions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research abilities.
  • Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to work in a rapidly growing company.
  • Ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude in stressful situations, while handling high-pressure tasks.
