Required Skills:

Must have at least 1 year of experience working as a Cloud Architect or have several years of experience designing cloud infrastructure architecture and design

Must have at least 5 as a Cloud Engineer and have experience with Microsoft Azure

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as be able to highly technical concepts and communicate them in non-technical speak

Terraform and Power Cli Scripting skills

Willingness to do a mix of cloud engineering and design/architecture work

Must have a strong infrastructure background and ideally experience building/designing Azure cloud IaaS and PaaS

Desired Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Description of Role/Responsibilities/Project:

We are seeking a Lead Azure Cloud Architect for an enterprise healthcare organization. You will get to join a well-tenured team that has major cloud initiatives in flight. In this role you will perform a variety of tasks related to their Azure cloud environment including but not limited to determining cloud design for all new projects, cloud governance, review of technical cloud engineering work, act as intermediary to provide technical thought leadership and direction for cloud engineers, etc. They are about to grow their cloud environment in 2025 from roughly 200 cloud servers to several thousand so it is an exciting time to join this team. The existing team consists of 5 people including several cloud architects with more of an application development focus, O365 and IaaS. The ideal candidate would have proven experience with building IaaS and PaaS for other enterprise organizations.
