Trust & Estate (T&E) Paralegal - Hybrid

Beacon Hill Legal is searching for a T&E Paralegal for a midsized law firm in Syracuse, NY. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in office.

This person should have at least 2 years of T&E Paralegal experience. The salary for this role will range between $50,000 -$65,000 DOE.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare pleadings to file with the court to initiate an estate proceeding and for ongoing estate administration
• Monitor and maintain the estate administration and trust administration
• Monitor the estate and trust accounts, including the payment of monthly expenses for an estate or trust
• Gather information needed for the preparation of tax returns required for an estate and trust administration and the initial preparation of related tax returns
• Preparation of estate/trust accountings
• eFiling of documents in various counties
• Conducts investigations, and prepares correspondence or documents for attorney review

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience as a T&E Paralegal in a law firm
• BA and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred
