Landlord/Tenant Litigation Paralegal
Beacon Hill Legal is searching for a Landlord/Tenant Paralegal for a law firm's Midtown Manhattan office. This is a hybrid role with a salary ranging from $80,000-$100,000.
This person should have at least 3 years of landlord/tenant litigation paralegal. This person should have experienced cite checking, researching, filing, and trial prep.
Responsibilities:
- Work with partners, associates and support staff.
- Cite checking/Bluebooking to ensure the validity of cites and accuracy of references in briefs.
- Perform research using litigation support programs such as Lexis Nexis, Pacer, Relativity, Best Authority, Sanctions and TextMap.
- Conduct filings both state and federal courts.
- Assist other paralegals in the Litigation Department on a daily basis.
- Prepare for depositions and organizational meetings: organize potential exhibits, digesting, vendor sourcing, and deposition locations.
- Assist with trial preparation, trial witnesses, exhibits, and subpoenas.
- Other projects/responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- BA degree.
- 3+ years experience in landlord/tenant litigation
