Litigation Paralegal

Beacon Hill Legal is searching for a Litigation Paralegal for a major law firm's midtown Manhattan office. This is an onsite role with a salary that ranges from $90,000-$125,000.

This person should have at least 7 years experience as a Litigation Paralegal in a medium to large law firm. This person should be experienced in drafting court documents, managing discovery, preparing trial binders, and eFiling.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare templates and initial drafts of pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and related legal documents.
• Participate in initial client and witness interviews, investigations, and fact analysis.
• Prepare trial binders and exhibits
• Coordinate/run background searches, public records research, arbitrator searches, and bio summaries.
• Assist with proofreading, cite and fact-checking, case law retrieval, shepardizing, and citation verification. Research local rules and procedures.
• eDiscovery: Manage and organize large volumes of documents, especially client document collections. Perform complex searches, review, and manage large discovery matters within Relativity and other web-accessible review platforms. Coordinate and collaborate with eDiscovery staff to ensure legal team needs are defined and met.
• eFiling in state and federal courts

Qualifications:

• BA required
• 7+ years experience as a Litigation Paralegal in a midsized to large law firm
