An excellent client of ours located in Princeton, NJ is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team! Please see a list of responsibilities and qualifications below.

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.S in Accounting or Business highly preferred
• 2+ years of experience
• Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in monthly closing processes including, but not limited to, the following: posting recurring journal entries, creating and archiving the related work papers, resolving variances and other issues during the closing process, and compilation/submission of financial statements to corporate parent
• Calculates commission to all salesmen and related journal entries for both domestic and international
• Create monthly revenue reports
• Collaborates with the Client Relations and Accounting teams globally to ensure receivables are collected in a timely manner from clients.
• Processes bi-weekly payroll within ADP system and enter payroll data into Sage 50 sytsem 20 employees
• Maintain hourly employee records within ADP payroll system, including calculating PTO and OT reports.
• Assists Senior in the preparation of monthly financial packages to C-level management
  Generate pricing calculations for new potential clients as needed.
• Prepares other ad-hoc analysis and reports assigned by management
