Trust & Estates (T&E) Paralegal - Hybrid

Beacon Hill Legal is searching for a T&E Paralegal for a great midsized law firm based in Manhattan.

This candidate should have at least 4 years of T&E Paralegal in a midsized or large law firm. This person should be experienced in valuing assets, assisting with estate administration, preparing tax returns, and working with clients. The salary for this role will range from $90,000-$135,000.

Responsibilities:

• Estate administration, including preparing probate and related court and accounting documents;
• Preparing estate tax returns, including federal estate tax returns and state estate tax returns;
• Ancillary estate administration for nonresident alien (international) decedent estates, including preparation of Form 706-NA;
• Reviewing and interpreting wills and trust agreements, in collaboration with attorneys, so as to implement the plan during the estate and trust administration process and to fund trusts;
• Interact with clients and court personnel, interface with clients and client advisors; generally provide support to active trust and estates practice;

Experience:

• 4+ Years experience as a T&E Paralegal
• BA or Paralegal Certificate preferred
