Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Corporate Real Estate Paralegal to assist our client a global corporation
This job is all about resolution and you will be actively looking into how to resolve commercial RE disputes.
Duties
- Oversee high volume real estate dispute and litigation docket, including tracking response deadlines, communicating with landlords, responding to requests for documentation from outside counsel, and coordinating with other in-house departments.
- Analyze and gather documents and information responsive to discovery requests arising out of real estate disputes and litigation (subpoenas, requests for documents, interrogatories, etc.).
- Often serves as the Company's first resource in a wide variety of legal related real estate problems, including communicating with landlords, subtenants and third-party property owners
- Review lease and other ancillary real estate documentation and draft responsive correspondence to Landlord's default notices and other real estate related correspondence.
- Review tenant ledgers and coordinate with accounting departments to resolve lease disputes regarding monetary reimbursement
- Assists in preparation of supervising attorneys for arbitrations, mediations, meetings and other appearances
- Assists with calendars and deadlines
- Performs various related tasks as requested by supervising attorneys and outside counsel
