Our client, an association management firm, is looking for a temporary-to-hire Meeting Associate to join their team in Washington, DC!
About You:
- 2+ years of office experience required. 1+ years of meeting support experience preferred.
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Must be able to travel 3-4 times per year.
- Ability to work hybrid with 2 days/week on-site in the Washington, DC office.
- Collaborative with a strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
The Job:
- Project manage association events (in-person and virtual) from start to finish.
- Lead meetings, create meeting agendas, assign action items, and draft minutes as needed.
- Coordinate the production and logistics of client events (i.e., dates, budget, registration set up, locations, food, venues, etc.).
- Manage sponsors/exhibitors and oversee event content/speaker management.
- Other tasks and special projects as assigned.
This a temporary-to-hire position that pays $24/hr-$26/hr when temporary and converts to a salary of $55K-$60K when made permanent. If you are interested in this opportunity and have strong meeting planning experience, please apply today with your resume in Microsoft Word format!
