Our client, a venture capital firm, is seeking a Director of Events to join their Marketing Communications team in NYC. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and organize internal/external events including team off-sites and large scale client events
• Ensure events adhere to budget and deadlines
• Build and maintain a comprehensive list of venue and vendor options
• Coordinate all operations and oversee all staff and volunteers
• Develop and manage global calendar of events
• Analyze and report on the success of events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's required, preference for Marketing Communications
• 7-10 years' experience in professional services or technology organization
• Strong project management skills and keen attention to detail
• Excellent at cross functional collaboration
• C-level communication skills and proven content development acumen
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Credible and mature individual with an ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

Compensation/Benefits:

• Up to $130-150K base (depending on experience) + bonus
