Our client, a biopharmaceutical company located in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Part-Time Office Manager to join their team! In this role you will be responsible for reception duties, vendor management, stocking/ordering office supplies, and generally acting as the "hub" through which many office-based activities are conducted. The right candidate will be organized, proactive, flexible, and collaborative. This individual will be on the front-line of visitor and employee interactions. They must be friendly and enjoy frequent, recurrent, and unplanned communication both in-person, on the phone, and via email. This roles hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-1pm, for a total of 25 hours/week and is compensating up to $32/hr. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for consideration.

Here's What You'll Do:
* Reception:
o Manage main phone line and visitors, incoming and outgoing mail
o Act as point person for many and various questions from team members and visitors.
o Develop sufficient understanding of the business operations of the company so this individual can direct questions/requests to the appropriate group.
o Must be comfortable acting as a "hub" of information.
o Place business card orders
* Office Management:
o Proactively review and purchase all office and food supplies
o Perform light conference room and multi-function copier maintenance
o Act as primary vendor contact for multiple office-service vendors
o Manage and track parking passes for team members. Manage, track, and assign seating.
o Act as primary liaison with the building management team.
o Manage catering and smaller scale food orders for meetings and company-wide events.
o Conduct ad hoc project and administrative support for the business operations team.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree, or commensurate experience, and 5+ years of work experience, with at least two years of experience in an office setting.
* Ability to work required hours of 8a-1p, Monday through Friday
* Must be up to speed on current technology used in the workplace: MS Outlook including Teams and Zoom, file sharing platforms, and smartphones
* Must be comfortable operating in a setting that requires flexibility, on-demand service, thinking on your feet, and independent decision-making.
* This individual must be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25 lbs. The job requires bending, twisting, and remaining standing for extended periods of time.
* Mature and common-sense decision-making capability; this individual will need to be comfortable functioning independently at times, as the Admin team is small.
* Collaborative orientation as this role may be called upon to assist other groups on administrative-based projects as time and capability allows.
* Must be proactive and operate with exceptional organizational skills.
* Must be comfortable and capable of communicating with professionals at all levels, including senior leaders.
