Our client, a non-profit foundation, is seeking an Operations Director to join their team in Brooklyn, NY. The hours are 8am/9am - 5pm/6pm (flexibility required) and they are in the office 5 days a week. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a foundation from the ground up and enjoy a great work/life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the foundation
• Develop and implement operational procedures and systems; develop administrative policy
• Provide support to the Board by managing correspondence, coordinating calendars, and scheduling meetings
• Identify potential office spaces and manage build out; maintain space and arrange for repairs
• Liaise with human resources, finance and IT
• Manage HR, including onboarding and payroll; process and submit expenses
• Create and update marketing materials
• Manage meeting and events logistics; adhere to budgets

Qualifications:

• Experience at a startup or non-profit is preferred
• Experience building out an office and managing a budget a plus
• Flexible, diligent, and creative individual with a "no task too big or too small" attitude
• Excellent time management skills; capable of balancing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Capable of handling sensitive/confidential information with discretion

Compensation/Benefits:

• Up to $85K - 100K base depending on experience
