Our client, a family office, is seeking a Family Assistant to provide administrative and PA support in New York, New Jersey, and the Hamptons. The hours will vary and must be flexible to work weekends. This role will travel between three offices and spend majority of the summer season living and working in the Hamptons. Excellent opportunity to be in a busy role with a variety of responsibilities. Additionally, will work with a great peer group of other Family Assistants supporting principals that are loyal to their employees!
Responsibilities:
- Primary focus will be to provide support for the Principal's coaching efforts of a competitive tournament sports team
- Schedule and coordinate logistics for team practices and provide onsite support during practices
- Organize all logistics for tournaments including registration and travel and accommodations for team
- Help to manage and draft correspondence with the team
- Assist with project management including home renovation and interior design
- Assist with event planning for both large and small, formal and informal gatherings
- Manage calendars and correspondence; contact maintenance
- Provide general organization of day-to-day activities
- Book travel arrangements
- Complete shopping and returns, run errands
- Perform copying, filing, scanning, and general clerical duties
- Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and track down information/unique items
- Knowledge of New York City, Northern NJ and Hamptons
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 1 + years of experience as an Administrative/Personal Assistant in fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a team player mentality
- Organized individual capable of multitasking ; ability to follow-up and pay attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed during demanding periods
- Perform tasks with a sense of urgency; creative approach to problem solving
- Proactive, motivated, and "can do" attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond
- Flexibility to provide 24/7 assistance to three locations; willing to live in staff housing during summer season
- Valid driver's License
Compensation/Benefits:
- Up to $70K - $85K base depending on experience + bonus
