Financial Services firm located in Hudson Yards is looking to hire a Temp to Perm Workplace Experience Manager for their growing office. This position does require someone in office Monday - Thursday with Friday as a work from home day from home from 8am - 5pm with flexibility for OT as needed. The purpose of this role is to act as an onsite workplace manager - providing daily support to the firm with a focus on investment professional needs in conjunction with administrative assistants, receptionists, facilities, food service, mail room, and janitorial staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tactical hands-on support related to workplace processes to ensure the facility remains ready to receive
- employees and guests each day
- Oversee a reception team and act as the main point of contact for reception staff, provide mentoring, training, and
- implementing new reception procedures.
- Manage all stages (concept - execution) of on-site events. Implementing event planning, budgeting, and
- sourcing/negotiating with vendors and suppliers.
- Oversee on-site food service, food and beverage offerings and budgeting.
- Manage catering and set up for high priority executive meetings throughout 300,000+ square feet of office space.
- Partner with remote and off-site assistants to support Senior Management and Portfolio Manager teams.
- Manage and assess space readiness - ensure workspaces, conference rooms, and collaborative areas are presentable and
- properly arranged for external meetings, new hires, and onsite employees.
- Perform special projects related to investment professional and facilities support as needed.
- Develop and maintain business relationships and interact with a variety of high-profile individuals and all levels of
- management.
Requirements:
- 1 + years related experience
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in assessing and determining how to handle time sensitive matters
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Detail oriented and ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environment.
- Multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Extremely professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite
- College degree required
Compensation/Benefits:
- Paying between 40hr - 45hr DOE + Paid OT + Discretionary Bonus + Benefits
