Our client, a hotel in Washington, DC, is seeking a temporary-to-hire Sales Coordinator to support their team!

About You:

• 1+ years of direct, related administrative experience.
• Luxury hotel sales and marketing and/or hotel operations experience is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Products (Word, Power Point, Excel).
• Excellent oral/written communication and multitasking skills with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be 100% on-site at the Washington, DC location.

The Job:

• Prepare all event documentation; coordinate with teams to ensure high-level service throughout all event phases.
• Liaise between the field salesperson and customer throughout the event process.
• Identify event challenges; work with staff and customers to solve challenges and/or develop solutions.
• Assist the sales staff in promoting the hotel, developing leads, and securing re-bookings.
• Manage banquet/meeting spaces, generate reports, and complete additional tasks as assigned.

This is a temporary-to-hire position that pays $20/hr-$23/hr when temporary and converts to $24/hr if made permanent. If you are interested in this role and have relevant experience, please apply today with your resume in Microsoft Word format!
