Our client, a dynamic and mission-driven non-profit organization, is seeking a direct-hire Major Gifts Manager to join their development team!

About You:

  • 3+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree are required.
  • Hands-on experience with securing major gifts and coordinating donor stewardship is required.
  • Previous experience working for a membership association and/or non-profit organization is preferred.
  • Customer service attitude with strong oral/written communications.
  • Tech savvy with an understanding of database management and donor software programs.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule on-site (2 days/week) at the Washington, DC location; must be open to travel for meetings and events.

The Job:

  • Manage full-cycle fundraising, including conducting prospective research and building relationships to identify, cultivate, steward, and solicit major gifts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including team members, leadership, board members, and volunteers to secure donations.
  • Coordinate in-person donor/potential donor meetings and make the donation asks.
  • Communicate directly with donors and coordinate major donor cultivation and stewardship activities.

This is an exciting direct-hire position that offers a salary of between $70K-$80K, depending on experience. The ideal candidate for this opportunity has major gifts experience and warm communication skills.
