Our client, a global hedge fund, is seeking a Research Assistant to join their NYC team. The hours are 8/8:30am-5:30/6pm and this role is in the office five days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and organizational support for 1-2 Portfolio Managers and their direct reports
- Coordinate a high volume of internal and external meetings
- Develop relationships with broker sales teams to effectively plan meetings
- Manage calendars, process expenses, book travel arrangements for the team
- Log meeting details in database
- Collect and organize research reports, models, and company quarterly and annual reports
- Work with internal teams organize new hire training schedules and oversee onboarding
- Perform special projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5+ years of experience in financial services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Interest in the technology infrastructure of the business, investment philosophy, and risk framework
- Organized professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation/Benefits:
- Up to $80-125K base depending on experience + OT + bonus
